Reggio Nellemilia

a city in northern Italy, located on the southern Po-Venetian Plain; capital of Reggio nell’Emilia Province and the region of Emilia-Romagna. Population, 128,800 (1971). Reggio nell’Emilia is a transportation hub. Industries include metallurgy, food processing, and the production of aircraft engines, transportation and agricultural machinery, electrical equipment, and chemicals. The city also has textile, clothing, and woodworking enterprises.
