ventricular late potential

ventricular late potential

high-frequency microvolt electrocardiogram signals at the end of the QRS complex.

ventricular late potential

Cardiology An abnormal high-frequency, low-amplitude electrical signal which occurs in the terminal QRS complex or on the ST segment of the EKG during sinus rhythm; VLPs may represent delayed activation of regions of diseased myocardium, and indicate an arrhythmogenic substrate, especially in post-MI Pts. See Ventricular premature contractions.
