Viliucfflnsk Volcanic Peak
an extinct volcano on the Kamchatka Peninsula. Height, 2,173 m. The steep, al-most perfect cone (stratovolcano) is etched with radial fur-rows (barrancas). There is no crater. On the slopes are tongues of cooled lava flows, and at the base of the northern slope are cinder cones. The lower part of the slopes of Viliuchinsk Volcanic Peak is covered with stands of Erman’s birch.
