Vilkija

a city (since 1950) in Kaunas Raion, Lithuanian SSR. It is located on the right bank of the Nemunas River on the Kaunas-Jurbakas highway 28 km northwest of Kaunas. Population, 2,600 (1968). Some of the inhabitants of Vilkija work in Kaunas.
