Vilkovo

a city in Kiliia Raion, Odessa Oblast, Ukrainian SSR. A port on the Danube, 18 km from the Black Sea. Located on the Kiliia girla (channel) in the Danube delta, on islands divided by a large number of channels and canals (the so-called water streets). Population, 10,200 (1968). Vilkovo has fishing and factories for fish processing and ship repair.
