Stauffer syndrome

A paraneoplastic condition characterised by biochemical changes: increased alkaline phosphatase, cholesterol and prothrombin time, cholestatic jaundice, hepatosplenomegaly (which is associated with and regresses after successful treatment of renal cell carcinoma and, far less commonly, malignant schwannoma and other cancers).
