Saianogorsk

(until 1975, the settlement of Oznachennoe), a city in the Khakass Autonomous Oblast, Krasnoiarsk Krai, RSFSR. Saianogorsk has stoneworking, including the working of marble from the Kibik-Kordon deposit. It also has prefabricated-housing combines and a plant for repairing machinery. An aluminum plant is under construction (1978).
