Pesochin

an urban-type settlement in Kharkov Raion, Kharkov Oblast, Ukrainian SSR, on the Udy River (a tributary of the Severskii Donets). Railroad station; population, 15,000 (1974). A furniture factory and a factory producing metal household equipment are in Pesochin. A workshop of the Saliut Production Amalgamation, which produces rubber toys, is also situated in the settlement.
