the highest sector of the Glavnyi, or Vodorazdel’nyi, Range of the Greater Caucasus, which includes (from east to west) Mounts Shkhara (5,058 m), Shota Rustaveli (4,960 m), Dzhangitau (5,049 m), Katyntau (4,970 m), Gestola (4,860 m), and Lalvar (or Lial’ver, 4,350 m). The Bezengi Wall is 12 km long. The Bezengi glacier rises from the northern slopes. The Bezengi Wall is a mountaineering region.
