Vitushkin, Anatolii Georgievich
Born June 25, 1931, in Moscow. Soviet mathematician. Corresponding member of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR (1976).
Vitushkin graduated from Moscow State University in 1954. In 1965 he joined the staff of the V. A. Steklov Institute of Mathematics. His principal works deal with mathematical analysis and its applications.
Vitushkin received the State Prize of the USSR in 1967.
