prostatodynia

(pros?ta-to-din'e-a) [? + odyne, pain] The condition of having the symptoms and signs of prostatitis but no evidence of inflammation of the prostate, with negative urine culture. Use of antibiotics in patients with prostatodynia is unnecessary. See: proctalgia fugax;
