Petropavlovka

an urban-type settlement and administrative center of Petropavlovka Raion, Dnepropetrovsk Oblast, Ukrainian SSR. Located on the Byk River (Dnieper River basin), 7 km from the Braginovka railroad station on the Dne-propetrovsk-Iasinovataia line. Population, 10,000 (1974). Petropavlovka has a butter factory and plants that process hemp and produce silicates.
