Rehabilitation and Adaptive Reuse

Theaters are often rehabilitated so that they conform with modern theater technology and provide modern services to the public. Adaptive reuse is the reconstruction of a building in order that it may serve a new purpose. Palaces and churches may undergo adaptive reuse in order to accommodate art exhibitions.
