Petr Velikii Bay

a bay in the Sea of Japan, off Primor’e Krai, RSFSR. Petr Velikii Bay is 80 km long and about 200 km wide at its southern end. Along its jagged coast are the Amur, Ussuri Pos’et, Strelok, and Vostok bays and the Gulf of Amerika. The bay is covered with ice in winter. The city of Vladivostok and its port are situated on Amur Bay.
