Shcherbinka

a city (since 1975) in Podol’sk Raion, Moscow Oblast, RSFSR. Shcherbinka is located on the Moscow-Simferopol’ highway, and it has a railroad station 34 km south of Moscow. Its enterprises include the Moscow Experimental Elevator Plant, a plant for the production of refractories for electric smelting, a branch of the Podol’sk Refractory Plant, and a factory producing metal clothing accessories.
