Hematology Any commercial product–eg, FEIBA–Factor VIII inhibitor by-passing activity that contain nonactivated factors IX, in addition to II, XI and X; PCCs may be used to ameliorate the intensity and duration of joint and soft tissue bleeding in hemophiliacs who produce factor VIII inhibitors; PCCs are 50% effective in staunching hemorrhage.
