Saltaim

a lake in Omsk Oblast, RSFSR. It is 146 sq km in area and has an average depth of 0.9 m and a maximum depth of 1.7 m. The lake is connected with Lake Tenis by a channel. Fed primarily by snow, Lake Saltaim reaches high water levels in May and June and low water levels in September and October. The lake freezes in late October, and the ice breaks up in May.
