Tatarov

a climatic health resort in Ivano-Frankovsk Oblast, Ukrainian SSR; located 88 km from the city of Ivano-Frankovsk in the Prut River valley. Tatarov is situated at an elevation of 750 m. Summers are fairly warm, with an average July temperature of 15°C, and winters are mild, with an average January temperature of –7°C. Precipitation totals 830 mm per year. Tatarov has a tuberculosis sanatorium.
