Location:10 miles north of Beaumont, near the Gulf Coast border.

Special Features:Village Creek is a free-flowing stream that rises near the Alabama-Coushatta Indian Reservation and meanders to a junction with the Neches River. It is a popular flat-water canoe stream in what remains of the Old Texas Big Thicket, a "rain forest" of cypress swamps and blackwater sloughs in the flood plain of the Neches River.

Facilities:96 campsites with electric and water hookups (for RVs, tents, and horsecampers), showers, restrooms, 10 cabins, picnic areas, 4 pavilions (2enclosed), playgrounds, baseball/multi-use fields, driving range, tennis courts, swimming beach,hiking trails, horse trails, boat docks, boat rentals, visitor centerwith store, gift shop, and bicycle rentals, interpretive center withmeeting facility and exhibits (é).

Special Features:Located in the unique geological region of Crowley's Ridge, the park features lush forests of oak, sugar maple, beech, butternut, and tulip poplar. Its two lakes offer fishing for bass, bream, catfish, and crappie.
