Location:23 miles south of Las Vegas, NM, via I-25 to Exit 323, then south 15 miles on NM 3.
Facilities:33 developed campsites (12 with electric hookups), restrooms (é),showers, picnic shelters (é), playground, hiking trails, visitor center.
Activities:Camping, fishing, canoeing and rafting (spring), hiking, wildlife viewing.
Special Features:Near the picturesque Spanish-colonial village of Villanueva, this riverside park is situated in a canyon of red and yellow sandstone cliffs. Trails along the river lead to a prehistoric Indian ruin and a cliff-top vantage point.
