Pharasmanes

During the march of Alexander the Great into Middle Asia, Pharasmanes led a detachment of 1,500 horsemen to Bactria, where Alexander was encamped, and concluded an alliance with him. Pharasmanes proposed a joint march into the northern Black Sea region and to Colchis, but Alexander did not accept the plan.
