Tatishchevo

an urban-type settlement and administrative center of Tatishchevo Raion, Saratov Oblast, RSFSR. Situated on the Idolga River, a tributary of the Medveditsa River. Railroad station on the Tambov-Saratov line 38 km from Saratov. Population, 12,400 (1975). Tatishchevo has a brickyard, a foodprocessing combine, a metalworking enterprise, and a poultry farm.
