Location:9 miles southwest of Ironton, off Highway 21, 5 miles on Highway CC in Iron and Reynolds counties.
Facilities:12 primitive walk-in campsites, special use area, picnic sites, hiking and backpacking trails.
Activities:Camping, hiking, backpacking.
Special Features:Park is located in the Saint Francois Mountains, one of the most ruggedand scenic areas of the state. Rising to 1,772 feet, Taum Sauk Mountainis the highest in the state. A trail from the top of the mountain leadsto Mina Sauk Falls, which drops 132 feet over a series of rocky ledges.Farther along on the trail is the Devil's Toll Gate, an 8-foot-widepassage through volcanic rhyolite standing 30 feet high.
