Tavolzhan

an urban-type settlement in Uspenka Raion, Pavlodar Oblast, Kazakh SSR. It is the site of the Tuzkala railroad station, the terminus of a branch from the Pavlodar-Kulunda line. Salt is extracted from Lakes Bol’shoi Tavolzhan, Malyi Tavolzhan, and Svetlichnoe.
