State: PennsylvaniaMy Husband and I moved in with my father in 1998 after my mother passed away, mostly all the furnishings in the house belong to my husband and myself. my father has written a will, that states that I will inherit the home and some land and my 2 brothers will inherit an equal amout of land, someone told my father that because he owns the home, all furniture in the home would be considered his, and that I would have to pay inheritance taxes according to the value of my own furnishings, is this true? and how can this be prevented?
