Stepan Razin

an urban-type settlement in the Azerbaijan SSR, under the jurisdiction of the Lenin raion soviet of the city of Baku. Located on the Apsheron Peninsula. Population, 39,800 (1975). Enterprises include the Baku Clothing and Knitwear Factory and another clothing factory. The Baku Petroleum-industry Technicum and the Baku Economic-planning Technicum are located in the settlement. Stepan Razin also has a children’s sanatorium.
