Tiui

(Bol’shoi Tiui), a river in Perm’ Oblast and the Bashkir ASSR; a right tributary of the Ufa River in the Kama River basin. The Tiui is 188 km long and drains an area of 2,320 sq km. The river rises in the Tulva Upland and empties into Pavlovka Reservoir; it is fed primarily by snow. The mean flow rate 10 km from the river’s mouth is 18.1 cu m per sec. The Tiui freezes in November, and the ice breaks up in early May. The river is used to float logs.
