Pseudoeosinophils

Pseudoeosinophils

a type of white blood cell— granulocytes—present in the blood of birds and some mammals (rabbit and guinea pig). Pseudoeosinophils have segmented nuclei and oxyphile granules in the cytoplasm. They are round in mammals and elongate (in the shape of rods or spindles) in birds. In biological properties pseudoeosinophils are similar to neutrophils.
