Susquehannock State Park
Location:From PA Route 372 west of Buck, in the extreme southern part of the state.
Facilities:Group tent camp, pit toilets, picnic areas, picnic pavilions (é), hiking trails (5 miles), bridle trails, softball fields, playground, scenic overlook (é).
Activities:Camping, hiking, horseback riding, picnicking.
Special Features:The old stone house near the park office is the Landis House, named for the last owner. It was built in 1850 and is an example of stone architecture and craftsmanship of the time. The exterior of the structure has been stabilized, but the interior is not safe for public use.
