Sustainable architecture

A term used to describe technologically, materially, ecologically, and environmentally stable building design. Sustainable architecture can be measured by its durability, maintenance level, and recyclability, as well as economic issues related to its construction, profitability, and building stock value. Resource sustainability can be measured by site conditions; cost-effectiveness of the operational and life cycle of the building; accessibility and favorable natural forces; and the creation of healthy, habitable and safe environments with social capacity.
