Vizhai

a river in Perm’ Oblast, RSFSR, left tributary of the Vil’va River (Kama Basin). Length, 125 km; basin area, 1,080 sq km. It rises near Teplaia Gora station on the western slopes of the central Urals; there are several high rocky bluffs along its shores. Part of the river flows through karst tunnels 9 km below Pashiiskii Zavod. The river is used for floating timber. There is a chromite ore deposit along the upper reaches of the Vizhai.
