Pseudosedum

a genus of plants of the family Crassulaceae. They are perennial herbs with densely tufted stems and fleshy elongated leaves. The numerous pink or reddish flowers are gathered in a cymose inflorescence. Approximately ten species grow in the arid regions of Western Asia. In the USSR, nine species are found in Middle Asia and Southwestern Siberia, growing primarily on dry mountain slopes. The species Pseudose-dum lievenii, which grows in clayey and stony semideserts and deserts, serves as feed for sheep and goats.
