Stereoroentgenography
a method of roentgen diagnosis that makes it possible to obtain a three-dimensional image of the object under investigation. The object is fixed in position and photographed from two points separated by a specific distance, The resulting photographs, called a stereopair, are viewed bin-ocularly by means of a special device in which the image is reflected from mirrors and is perceived by the eye as stereoscopic. Stereoroentgenography is used in analyzing complex fistulous passages, cavitary formations, and multiple bone chips.
