[¦fä·sfō′təŋ·stik ′pig·mənt] (organic chemistry) A green or blue pigment prepared by precipitating solutions of phosphotungstic or phosphomolybdic acid with malachite green, Victoria blue, and other basic dyestuffs; used in printing inks, paints, and enamels. Also known as tungsten lake.
