photoallergy [fo″to-al´er-je] a delayed immunologic type of photosensitivity involving both a chemical substance to which the individual has become previously sensitized and radiant energy.pho·to·sen·si·ti·za·tion (fō'tō-sen-si-ti-zā'shŭn), 1.
