Location:Along the northern shore of San Pablo Bay in northern California.

Special Features:Numerous threatened, endangered, and sensitive species requrie tidal marsh habitat for their survival, including 11 fish species that swim through San Pablo Bay to reach their freshwater spawning grounds.
Habitats: More than 13,000 acres of open water, mudflats, salt marshes, and seasonal wetlands.
Access: Open during daylight hours.
Wild life: California clapper rail, salt marsh harvest mouse, California black rail, San Pablo song sparrow, and Suisun shrew. Also migratory shorebirds and waterfowl, particularly diving ducks.
