Shock Lifter
Shock Lifter
a machine for transporting shocks of hay and straw to stacking points. The shock lifter can also be used for loading manure, silage, and loose and unit loads into trucks, trailers, railroad cars, and other means of transportation. The KUN-10 shock lifter used in the USSR consists of two platforms suspended on lifting frames attached to a tractor, one in front and one behind. The hydraulic system of the shock lifter raises and lowers the platform to pick up the shock, presses it, and pushes it off the platform. The lifter is also used to pick up and unload bulk matter when working with a scoop or forks. Additional working elements are attached to the shock lifter and are operated using its hydraulic system: forks for loading manure and silage, a scoop for loading loose loads, and a frame with a hook for loading unit loads. The lifting capacity of the shock lifter is 1,000 kg. It is operated by a tractor operator.
