Phthivazid

(also Ftivazid), a Soviet medicinal preparation from the group of antituberculous agents that exhibit a selective bacteriostatic effect on Mycobacteria tuberculosis. Phthivazid is prescribed for internal use in powder or tablet form to treat various forms of tuberculosis.
