Sosnovets

an urban-type settlement in Belomorsk Raion, Karelian ASSR, along the Belomorsk-Baltic Canal. Railroad station on the Petrozavodsk-Belomorsk line. There is a logging and timber distribution establishment and a fish-farm in the settlement.
