Uda Bay

Uda Bay

 

an inlet in the western part of the Sea of Okhotsk. Uda Bay is 100 km long and 85 km wide and has depths to 36 m. It is icebound from October through June. Tides are irregular and semidiurnal and reach heights of about 7 m. The shores are primarily elevated. Port Chumikan is situated on the bay, at the mouth of the Uda River.
