Piasino

a lake in northern Krasnoiarsk Krai, RSFSR. The area of the lake is 735 sq km. Its length (from south to north) is 70 km, its width reaches 15 km, and its depth reaches 10 m. Lake Piasino is fed by snow and rain. It freezes in October, and the ice breaks up in June. A number of rivers, including the Norilka, empty into the lake; the Piasina River flows out of it. Lake Piasino abounds with fish.
