Tskhneti

an urban-type settlement in the Georgian SSR, under the jurisdiction of the Tbilisi city soviet. Tskhneti is located 7 km from Tbilisi and is at an elevation of 700–1,100 m. It is a climatic resort, with warm summers (average July temperature about 20°C) and mild winters (average January temperature about –2°C). The annual precipitation is 550–650 mm. Diseases of the respiratory organs (except tuberculosis forms) are treated. The settlement has sanatoriums, houses of rest, and Pioneer camps.
