Vakhrushevo

a city (until 1963, a settlement) in Voroshilovgrad Oblast, Ukrainian SSR, 9 km from the Krasnyi Luch railroad station. Population, 30,000 (1968). Vakhrushevo has coal-extracting and ore-concentrating industries. The city was named in honor of V. V. Vakhrushev.
