Vakhrushi

an urban-type settlement in Slobodskoi Raion, Kirov Oblast, RSFSR. Site of a railroad station on a branch of the Kirov-Kotlas line, 26 km from Kirov. Population, 10,600 (1969). The settlement has a leather and footwear combine (since 1932) and brick production.
