saturated vapour pressure

saturated vapour pressure

the pressure exerted by a vapour when it is completely saturated and in equilibrium with its liquid form. For example, the evaporating surface of a MESOPHYLL cell is saturated with water and has a vapour pressure that is highly affected by the ambient temperature. See Fig. 274 .

Saturated vapour pressure

The effect of ambient temperature on the vapour pressure at the surface of a mesophyll.rainfall and temperature vary widely and savannas occur as transitional habitat between tropical rainforest and desert, prairie and temperate deciduous forest, and prairie and TAIGA. The type of habitat is maintained by natural periodic burning.
