[‚sach·ə′rā·shən ′ad·ē·ə‚bat] (meteorology) On a thermodynamic diagram, a line of constant wet-bulb potential temperatures; in practice, approximate computations are usually employed, and the resulting lines represent, ambiguously, saturation adiabats and pseudoadiabats. Also known as moist adiabat; wet adiabat.
