Viatka Uval

an upland in the Mari ASSR and in Kirov Oblast, RSFSR, situated at an elevation of 284 m. The Viatka Uval is stretched out almost meridionally. Crossed by the valley of the Viatka River, it is composed of dolomite, lime-stone, and gypsum; karst phenomena are strongly developed. Forests are of pines and firs.
