Verkhnetulomskii

an urban-type settlement in Kola Raion, Murmansk Oblast, RSFSR. Situated on the Tuloma River (which empties into Kola Bay), 54 km southwest of the Murmashi railroad station (on the Kola-Nikel’ line). Population, 1,400 (1968). The Verkhnetulomskaia Hydroelectric Power Plant and a logging and timber distribution enterprise are located there.
