Pin·dus Mountains P0310600 (pĭn′dəs) A range of mountains extending about 235 km (145 mi) south from the southern border of Albania through northwest Greece and rising to 2,637 m (8,652 ft). They formed the border between ancient Thessaly and Epirus.
