an implement for working the spaces between rows in vineyards, as well as working in forest windbreaks and berry patches. The vineyard ripper-plows can be used for bringing up and breaking down soil to a depth of 22-25 cm, for cultivating to a depth of 6-12 cm, for overall hoeing to a depth of 30 cm, for covering over and half uncovering the grapevine, and for cutting furrows to a depth of 16-20 cm in irrigated vineyards. For this purpose the vine-yard ripper-plow comes equipped with a set of interchangeable working parts that are mounted on the plow body. The PRVN-2.5A plow produced in the USSR can be mounted on 2-ton and 3-ton tractors. Its productivity is 0.6-1.2 hectare per hours, depending upon the operating width and the type of work.
